Isn't It Romantic

"We do not remember days; we remember moments." ~Cesare Pavese

Happy Valentines Day my dear readers!  Tonight I will be spending Valentines Day with my hubby in tennis class!  Yay!

My husband used to play tennis when he was younger with his Dad.  Those are good memories for him and we have always talked about playing together but never really did anything about it until this year.  In January we started seriously looking for some classes we could take together as a refresher for him and as an introduction for me.  We found a tennis center not 15 minutes from our house with reasonable rates for lessons so we signed up for a 5 week beginner’s class together!

Tonight will be our second class together and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend Valentines Day!  Spending time together doing something active and fun!  We are looking forward to years of play and memories to share!

I’ll be updating you more on my progress in this new sport.  From our first week and the few times we have tried to practice together I can tell you that I am learning that I am not as coordinated as I thought I was.  This is just a completely foreign and strange activity for my body.  But I know I will learn.  Wish me luck!

  1. Good luck!! It's funny, Seby (husband) and I were at a friend's house for the super bowl and they had a tennis court so we decided to give it a try. We've never played tennis. We learned that we're not very good. Foreign and strange, indeed! That's exactly how I felt!

You'll get it though :) I want to learn too!!

  2. They make it look so easy on TV. Just swing the racket and go right? Ummm... not really.
