Taking a Little Blogcation

"A good vacation is over when you begin
to yearn for your work."
~Morris Fishbein

I'm going to be taking this week off from blogging.  Partly because I want to refocus my writting and direction with this blog and partly due to a technology transition.

I just sold my laptop on Craigslist in order to buy a new smaller and more easily transportable Toshiba netbook (affiliate link).  It's just a little laptop that has a less powerful processor but has a much longer battery life and it won't get hot after using it on my lap for a long period of time.  I'm super excited.  But the new netbook won't arive from Amazon until later in the week and I am feeling out of sync without my own computer to work on and my own space to focus in.  So writing new blog posts is just going to have to wait until next week.

But in the meantime here are some interesting links for other great stuff to read.  Just don't forget to come back next week, I would miss you!

Race Reports
A couple of my favorite running bloggers both just recently completed somewhat impromptu 50 miles races.  Check out Corys two part race report about his experience here  and here and Donald's race report here.  50 miles!!!!  These guys are hard core!

Follow Your Muse
I really enjoyed this post about being creatively curious from Lateral Action.  I love the idea of not needing to have a creative plan but just kind of going with the  flow and not being upset if it doesn't lead anywhere.

Being Manly
Ok- I know I am not really the target audience for this blog, The Art of Manliness, but I just love it anyway.  Especially this post about the marriage master mind and this post about living your life.  But there is lot's to love at this blog, check it out for sure!

Get Started
Zen Habits is yet another one of my favorite blogs.  Just good solid advise about living simply. This recent post was a good one that we could all learn from.  Sometimes the hardest thing to do is knowing how to  begin something new.  This post will help you know how.

Have a Good Week
We will get back to our Monday healthy living series next week!
